The Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) is a Brazilian nonprofit Association fully dedicated to the study of Intellectual Property Law and its international and domestic effects in the last 56 years. Today, ABPI has about 800 (eight hundred) members from Brazil and abroad, among them: professionals specialized in intellectual property, academics, and large, medium, and small companies, from the private and public sectors. The goal of the Organization is the study of Intellectual Property in all its aspects, especially the Industrial Property Law, Copyrights, Competition Law and Technology Transfer, including related fields of the Law, promoting the improvement of the Law, Doctrine and Case Law, as well as promoting conferences, congresses, seminars, symposiums, etc., and also publishing journals on these matters.
