Dear Member,
The CLA is delighted to announce that this year is the UK’s turn to host the Annual European LIDC Congress in London on 7-9 November and that registration is now open.
We are pleased to have confirmed a range of eminent speakers and panellists from the courts, tribunals, authorities and private practice in the UK and EU, who will variously share their competition law, intellectual property law and economic expertise on the theme of: https://www.ligue.org/document/940a263cd52ea116870504d8c4a49e4e
“New Legal Order: Coherent antitrust, IP and data regulation in a divergent world”
The focus of the Congress will be a full day conference held on Friday 8 November 2024 in the beautiful surroundings of the Lincoln’s Inn Conference Centre, followed by a cocktail reception and formal dinner in the Lincoln’s Inn Great Hall. The panel sessions, some of which run in parallel, are carefully designed to provide a full programme throughout the day relevant to all practitioners covering issues, topical to competition law, intellectual property law and data, together with the increasing interplay between them.
Please do take a look at the attached programme for further details of the contributors, panels, and the early bird booking rates.
On Saturday 9 November, we will host the LIDC Plenary Sessions, followed by lunch and an optional guided tour of the Sir John Soames Museum.
