TRADEMARKS REGISTERED IN BAD FAITH: Which trademarks are these and how to challenge them?
The Czech group of the International League of Competition Law (Czech LIDC) organizes a lunchtime webinar on the topic “TRADEMARKS REGISTERED IN BAD FAITH: Which trademarks are these and how to challenge them?” on March 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM. The speaker, Mr. Ondřej Najman from the law firm Skils, will mainly address within the 40-minute webinar: I) the development of legal practice following the major amendment to Act No. 441/2003 Coll., on trademarks within the Act No. 286/2018 Coll., on the basis of which the absence of good faith was omitted for reasons of absolute ineligibility for registration, II) alternative legal tools against the registration of applications not filed in good faith, and III) current EU and Czech case law in this area.
The lunchtime webinar will take place via the WEBEX platform.
